Independently owned and operated...

... This family operation seeks to deliver superior quality food, service and atmosphere to make your dining experience memorable. Knowledge has been passed down from father to son generation after generation.
My great-grandfather was a sea captain that conquered the Mediterranean and floated his way from Ellis Island to Detroit. In Detroit my grandpa, Ambrose, peddled fruit and produce. In the 1940’s he opened B&B Market, a fruit and meat market. My other grandpa operated a Metro-Detroit restaurant chain called Captains. The confectionery magnum Morley Candy Makers was founded in 1919 by my great uncle Tom Morley. My uncle Robert and Eddie operate a winery, tasting room and banquet facility in Traverse City. My cousins across the border operate a tobacco and dairy farm. For the past 100 years we’ve caught it, grown it, studied it and prepared it. Hospitality runs in our family.
